Towards an integrated definition of job crafting

Purpose: The aim of this paper is to form a comprehensive definition describe the term “job crafting” . Design/methodology/approach: Through systematic review literature found in databases, such as Web Science, Scopus, Emerald and ABI, articles containing words title abstract were identified. After following several criteria applied by previous similar analyses, resulting final sample was 47 articles. Findings: In research on crafting”, 76 different definitions its meaning analysis these definitions, with extracting common elements that characterise job crafting, proposed, which makes it possible include any typology, based three key elements: employee’s proactivity, impact environment context activity carried out. Research limitations/implications: extant literature, previously has not considered crafting hybrid (physical remote) virtual (metaverse) environments. Practical implications: aims provide simple all-inclusive serves basis for identifying attitudes behavior will help talent attraction, selection development processes.
